GIANYAR – Dinas Tenaga Kerja Kabupaten Gianyar mendorong Lembaga Pelatihan Kerja (LPK) memberikan pelatihan bagi masyarakat yang berminat sebagai terapis spa karena peluang kerja di luar negeri terbuka lebar.
Kepala Dinas Tenaga Kerja Gianyar Ida Ayu Surya Adnyani mengatakan, LPK di Gianyar cukup banyak yang membuka pelatihan terapis spa secara gratis. Mereka dilatih kemudian diarahkan agar bisa ditempatkan oleh agen yang ada.
Pihak Disnaker pun ikut membantu LPK untuk mencarikan peserta pelatihan.
“Disnaker membatu membagikan ke relasi disnaker baik sesama OPD dan ke desa-desa agar kesempatan yang diberikan perusahaan atau pemberi kerja tidak sia-sia,” ujarnya, Rabu (6/12).
Menurut Dayu Surya, warga Gianyar yang menjadi terapis spa di luar negeri cukup banyak. Ini dilihat dari LPK yang mendidik dan melatih hingga ditempatkan oleh agen.
“Cukup banyak peminat warga Gianyar yang menjadi terapis di LN. dilihat dari LPK yang mendidik dan melatih mereka. Jadi peserta LPK khusus di SPA sangat banyak dan mereka sudah lsngsung bekerja ke LN sesuai dengan agen penempatannya,” ujarnya.
Tahun 2022, warga Gianyar sebagai pekerja migran tercatat 1.092 orang. Rinciannya, laki-laki 594 orang dan perempuan 495 orang.
Mereka berasal dari Ubud (128 orang), Tegalalang (86 orang), Blahbatuh (216 orang), Sukawati (154 orang), Gianyar (242 orang), Tampaksiring (148 orang) dan Kecamatan Payangan (117 orang).
Menurut Dayu Surya, negara peminat terapis spa didominasi Turki. “PMI yang ke Turki sebagian besar sebagai pekerja spa and therapist, sedangkan PMI lain ada di pesiar atau bekerja di darat sebagai pelayan toko, perkebunan atau pekerjaan lain,” sebutnya.
Dayu Surya menilai, bekerja keluar negeri merupakan hal positif. Sebab keterampilan yang didapatkan di negeri orang, biasanya dikembangkan di daerah sendiri, yang bisa membuka lapangan pekerjaan bagi warga sekitar.
Selama ini, kata dia, PMI asal Bali khususnya Gianyar dikenal ulet, terampil dan sangat jarang menerima komplain dari atasan tempatnya bekerja. “Ini suatu hal yang positif, semoga keterampilan yang didapat sana digunakan di daerah saat mereka pulang nanti,” ujarnya. (jay)
