DENPASAR – Try out dengan mengikuti even internasional dinilai penting oleh Bali United. Karena itulah Ilija Spasojevic dkk merespon undangan Hana Bank -BID V Cup di Hanoi, Vietnam yang akan dilangsungkan di Stadion Hang Day pada 23 – 27 Januari 2024.
Penting karena even itu bisa dijadikan ajang pemanasan bagi Serdadu Tridatu sebelum melakoni Liga Indonesia putaran II awal Februari 2024 mendatang.
Pada even internasional nantinya, tim yang diarsiteki Stefano “Teco” Cugurra itu akan menghadapi skuad Daejeon Hana Citizen dari Korea Selatan dan berpotensi bertemu salah satu dari dua wakil Vietnam yaitu Hanoi FC atau Cong An Ha Noi FC atau Hanoi Police.
Teco sendiri seperti dilansir dari baliutd.com mengaku bila try out internasional ini menjadi modal penting untuk mengembalikan performa tim asuhannya sebelum kembali melanjutkan perjuangan di Liga 1 musim ini.
“Pastinya untuk skuad kami try out itu sangat penting sebelum melawan Persik Kediri di putaran II Liga 1 nantinya. Apalagi berlaga di luar negeri akan menambah pengalaman bagi para pemain kami. Di Vietnam skuad kami akan melawan tim dari Korea Selatan dan Vietnam yang punya fisik, teknik dan taktik cukup bagus. Jelas ini akan memberikan pengalaman bagus kepada Bali United karena akan bisa lebih siap melakoni lanjutan Liga 1,” kata Teco, Kamis (18/1/2024).
Saat ini Bali United telah menyelesaikan putaran I liga 1 Indonesia dengan menancapkan diri di posisi runner up klasemen sementara dibawah Borneo FC dengan poin 41 dengan 12 kemenangan, 5 hasil imbang dan 6 kekalahan dari total 23 laga.
Terkait melakoni Kembali Liga 1 putaran II atau memasuki pekan 24 nanti, Bali United akan bertanding ke markas Persik Kediri Februari mendatang. Bila tidak ada perubahan laga tersebut akan dilangsungkan pada Senin (5/2) malam di Stadion Brawijaya, Kediri, Jawa Timur.
“Sampai saat ini jadwal masih sama tidak ada penundaan pertandingan dan manajemen juga belum ada info. Kami sudah melakukan latihan mulai Kamis (11/1/2024) lalu di Training Center Bali United, Pantai Purnama, Gianyar,” pungkas Teco. (ari/jon)
