DENPASAR – Penjabat (Pj) Gubernur Bali Sang Made Mahendra Jaya menyampaikan terjadi trend positif terhadap perkembangan pariwisata Bali. Sementara GIPI Bali minta segera revisi Perda Pungutan Wisman
Pj. Gubernur Mahendra Jaya juga meyakini seluruh komponen memberi perhatian serius pada sektor pariwisata karena sebagaimana diketahui Bali tak memiliki sumber daya alam berupa tambang seperti daerah lain.
Bali mengandalkan sektor pariwisata sebagai sumber pendapatan. Pemprov Bali juga terus mengupayakan peningkatan kualitas sarana dan prasarana pendukung sektor pariwisata, salah satunya bidang infrastruktur transportasi yaitu rencana pengembangan LRT.
Hal itu disampaikan Penjabat (Pj) Gubernur Bali S.M. Mahendra Jaya saat menerima audiensi Ketua Gabungan Industri Pariwisata Indonesia (GIPI) Bali Ida Bagus Agung Partha Adnyana, di Denpasar pada Selasa (2/1/2024).
“Terima kasih saya sampaikan kepada jajaran GIPI Bali, karena pariwisata Bali bisa tumbuh seperti ini karena peran bapak dan ibu,”ujarnya.
Sementara mengenai mekanisme pungutan wisatawan mancanegara (wisman) yang mulai diberlakukan pada 14 Februari 2024. Pj. Gubernur Bali, Mahendra Jaya mengatakan Pemprov mengupayakan mekanisme terbaik agar tak mengganggu kenyamanan wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Pulau Dewata. Untuk mekanisme pemungutan, Pemprov Bali telah menetapkan tiga alternatif.
Alternatif pertama, Pemprov Bali mendorong wisman melakukan pembayaran sebelum tiba di Bali melalui aplikasi Love Bali. Alternatif kedua, Pemprov juga memfasilitasi pembayaran di bandara.
“Alternatif ketiga yang akan kita intensifkan adalah pembayaran yang dilakukan ketika tamu tiba di tempat mereka menginap. Tentunya dalam pelaksanaannya akan terus kita lakukan evaluasi,”katannya.
Sementara Ketua Gabungan Industri Pariwisata Indonesia (GIPI) Bali Ida Bagus Agung Partha Adnyana, bersama pimpinan asosiasi industri pariwisata yang tergabung dalam GIPI menyampaikan optimisme terhadap perkembangan pariwisata Bali di tahun 2024.
Ida Bagus Agung Partha Adnyana menyampaikan, perekonomian daerah Bali banyak bertumpu pada sektor pariwisata dan secara umum saat ini sudah baik. Pihaknya optimis di tahun 2024 ini, tapi tetap harus berhati-hati.
Sebab, pariwisata yang merupakan sektor rentan harus mewaspadai isu seperti dukungan infrastruktur dan situasi global yang masih diwarnai ketegangan.
Mengenai pungutan wisman yang mulai diberlakukan pada 14 Februari 2024 mendatang, pihaknya memberikan masukan tentang penggunaan dana yang terkumpul. Diharapkan olehnya, dana yang terkumpul nantinya dialokasikan pula untuk kegiatan yang dampaknya dirasakan langsung oleh wisatawan.
Menurutnya kalau di Perda, secara khusus memang sudah disebutkan pemanfaatannya yaitu untuk penanganan sampah dan penguatan budaya. Itu masih agak abstrak dan belum ada dampak langsung bagi wisatawan mancanegara.
“Kalau memungkinkan, GIPI Bali menyarankan revisi Perda hingga dapat mengakomodir peruntukan lain seperti asuransi,” pintanya.
Menurutnya dari informasi yang ia peroleh dari Bali Medical Tourism Association, ada sejumlah kasus dimana wisman tak bisa membayar biaya pengobatan ketika sakit atau mengalami kecelakaan saat liburan di Bali.
“Hal itu dikarenakan tidak semua wisman tercover asuransi dan bila memungkinkan, dana pungutan wisman disisihkan juga untuk mengcover biaya itu,”pungkasnya.
Selain Gus Agung, pimpinan asosiasi industri pariwisata yang tergabung dalam GIPI Bali juga secara bergantian menyampaikan beberapa hal yang berkaitan dengan isu pariwisata. Ketua ASITA Bali I Putu Winastra menginformasikan bahwa organisasi yang dipimpinnya mewadahi 400 biro perjalanan.
Dalam kesempatan itu, ia mengharapkan penataan yang lebih baik pada Daerah Tujuan Wisata (DTW) untuk memberi kenyamanan bagi wisatawan.
Sedangkan Ketua DPD Himpunan Pramuwisata Indonesia (HPI) Bali I Nyoman Nuarta mengharapkan adanya penegakan hukum pada keberadaan guide liar. (arn/jon)
